About Us
Over 200 cases involving women and children have been reported to the AlengPulis Cybersquad since mid-2020
Many of these cases target women and children directly. About 82% of the reports come from the victims themselves, with family members often reporting on behalf of child victims. Notably, some children have reported their own cases, showing bravery and initiative. Unfortunately, these numbers only scratch the surface, as many victims don’t know how to report, are afraid to come forward, or can’t report right away.
The types of offenses reported include:
– Online Sexual Harassment
– Porn Blackmail
– Pornograph
– Physical Abuse
– Child Sexual Abuse
– Child Abuse
– Child Custody Disputes
The police understand the critical need to bolster their support for these victims, which involves enhancing their online presence and ensuring easier, more accessible reporting mechanisms. In this post-pandemic era, it is more important than ever to reach and protect those most vulnerable.
